What support have you received from Waterman Aspen throughout your apprenticeship?
Throughout my apprenticeship, I have had tremendous amounts of support from the Waterman Aspen team. For example, when working towards my EngTech, I have been able to prepare confidently with the support from the Waterman Aspen team.
What are the benefits of completing an apprenticeship while working at the same time?
For me, the apprenticeship is more than studying. Working as an apprentice has allowed me to develop my hard and soft skills, for example, time management, leadership and decision-making skills. Undertaking this apprenticeship has equipped me to work in a professional environment, both as part of a team and as an individual. The apprenticeship has provided me with a well-rounded learning experience which has combined theoretical and practical knowledge into my day-to-day learning.
What are your career aspirations once your apprenticeship is completed?
After completing my apprenticeship, my aim is to qualify for my IEng and gain experience in different areas within Civil Engineering. I aspire to take on a leadership role within projects.
