What does a typical day look like in your role or secondment?
My typical day revolves around the development and motivation of the management team to recruit, place and manage staff. In addition, I have regular client meetings with both local and private sector clients, with a view to creating vacancies for the team to fill.
What training or education have you received at Waterman Aspen?
I have been provided with support to gain Chartered Membership of the Chartered Management Institute.
What’s the best thing about working for Waterman Aspen?
I really enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage my workload – this enables me to have a good work-life balance.
What would you say to someone interested in a career in your role?
On a daily basis, I get to interact and try to grow the business as well as create opportunities. As a result, I get to discuss and get involved in engineering discussions on a daily basis and helping clients to deliver their projects.
