Waterman Aspen Joins Atkins For Volunteer Work In North West

Our North West team recently volunteered at Grange Community Garden as part of a joint initiative between Waterman Aspen and Atkins to support local communities and projects in Lancashire.

Grange Community Garden is managed by the charity Let’s Grow Preston which includes a small orchard, two poly tunnels and a vegetable garden. The team helped with a variety of gardening activities, including vegetable picking, weeding, sowing and pruning.

Associate Director, Dimitare Ivanov, commented, “Waterman Aspen offers all staff one social value day each year, which provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to society through volunteering or charitable projects. Supporting charities like Let’s Grow Preston is extremely rewarding as they make such a positive impact to local communities. The day was also a great way to catch up with colleagues from Atkins with whom we work very closely.

Waterman Aspen currently provides specialist secondment support to Atkins on Lancashire County Council’s Professional Services Framework.

A huge well done to all involved for a fantastic charity.
