Mind Workplace Wellbeing Index Award badge

We are excited to announce that we have been awarded ‘Gold – Achieving Excellence’ in the Mind Workplace Wellbeing Index survey!

The Workplace Welbeing Index is a benchmark of best practice and policy set out by Mind – the UK’s leading mental health charity. It also celebrates the good work employers are doing to promote positive mental health in the workplace.

Waterman Aspen has been awarded ‘Gold – Achieving Excellence’, which is the highest standard and ranked 11 out of 67 organisations who also completed the survey.

The latest index report tells us that…

  • 92% feel that Waterman Aspen encourages openness and discussion about mental health
  • 94% feel that the organisation runs initiatives to raise awareness of mental health
  • 90% say that we offer flexible working arrangements to help balance work and home demands

Danny Green, Divisional Director and part of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Leadership team, commented; “We are really pleased that our action plan to enhance the support of all our colleagues’ mental health and wellbeing has resulted in Waterman Aspen being awarded the ‘Gold’ standard from the Mind Workplace Wellbeing Index, especially after achieving ‘Silver’ for two years in a row. The wellbeing of our colleagues is so important to us, and everyone deserves a safe space to ask for help if they need it. We look forward to building on the policies and procedures we already have in place to ensure our people have the very best support.
