Water & Environment team volunteer at Kinver Edge National Trust site

Last week, members of our Water & Environment West team used their Waterman Aspen in the Community Day to volunteer at the Kinver Edge National Trust site.

They spent the day clearing Himalayan Balsam to help promote biodiversity in the area. This will allow more plant species to grow and encourage more insects to thrive.

Our volunteers successfully cleared a large area of the woodland floor, which is a huge help to the people working at the National Trust site as there are only three permanent members of staff.
