Teresa Hylton – Regional Director
What made you join WA? Waterman Aspen work in partnership with an increasing number of organisations and companies. I was the opportunity to gain some diverse experience working for different clients.
What secondments have been most interesting and why? I was NEC3 Project Manager on a Major Project for Leicestershire County Council 2015-2017. Both design and construction phases were highly enjoyable and challenging. This scheme won the 2018 Team Achievement award at the Institution of Civil Engineers’ East Midlands Merit Awards.
What are the best aspects of working for WA? The style of working is changing, and we get the opportunity on working on some big projects or getting into the details on smaller ones. This allows diverse experience to be gained and opens more opportunities. We are trusted to deliver for our clients and supported by our managers.
Why would you recommend working for WA? Waterman Aspen feels like a smaller company than it is due to the management team being in secondment with the staff. There is continued support and mentoring for accreditation and training. The companies and organisations that WA work with have a great trust in us and embrace us into their teams. I have met so many people and gained many new friends in the industry since working with Waterman Aspen.
