Project and Programme Management2 2020-07-14T14:48:32+01:00

Waterman Aspen staff successfully manage all types of infrastructure schemes from inception to construction and we have Project and Programme Managers helping deliver some of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects. Our secondees work on short and long term secondments, helping our clients cover peaks in workload and filling gaps when they need specialist expertise

We are supporting Highways England and consultant partners on the smart motorways programme including schemes on the M1 j19-16 and M5 j4-6, and the Road Investment Strategy (RIS) which will see £15 billion invested in over 100 major schemes to enhance, renew and improve the network over the period 2015 to 2020. Waterman secondees are helping implement measures that will transform the way major projects are delivered, using a programme approach rather than ‘project by project’. This is underpinned by the three principles of integration, collaboration, and programme management.

We provide Commercial and Site Assurance services to Local Authorities and other public sector bodies, often working in partnership with other consultants. A significant part of our business is carried out via frameworks and term commissions and we have 80 staff working on the West Midlands Highways Alliance Professional Services Framework. A team of Waterman secondees is fulfilling project management, site supervision and quantity surveying / commercial management roles and supporting Coventry City Council in delivering their programme of public realm schemes and major infrastructure projects.
