Waterman Aspen submits 2024 Gender Pay Gap Report

We are pleased to submit our Gender Pay Gap Report for 2024 – Mark Emberton, our Managing Director, comments below on our progress, our commitment to closing the gap, and our drive to promote gender equality within our industry.

Mark Emberton - Managing Director

“This is the eighth year that Waterman Aspen has collated its Gender Pay Gap data. In 2024, the mean gender pay gap reduced to 15.4% from 18.5%, but the median pay gap widened slightly to 17.7% from 16.4%. We have moved a step in the right direction in some areas, but we recognise that there is work to be done to close this further.

In 2025, we aim to do more to close this gap and further improve our HR policies that promote more flexibility in the work place and initiatives encouraging career growth. We have our female mentoring programme and investment in training and development to support promotions and appointments to senior leadership positions based on merit.

There will be a renewed focus on internal communications and enabling employees to feed back to the wider organisation via a new and improved intranet, colleague engagement survey, and a new 360 feedback process via the annual personal progression reviews. This will enable us to unlock new ideas and discuss initiatives to make Waterman Aspen an even more attractive employer.”
