Waterman Aspen is pleased to announce the launch of our Town Planning team. The team are going from strength to strength with some key appointments and secondment placements which are already having a positive impact on our clients.
We’re pleased to welcome Victoria Lane, Regional Chair of the West Midlands Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), to our management team. Victoria brings a wealth of knowledge and is supporting both clients and secondees with their placements.
“Growing up, I wanted to study Geography at university but didn’t want to become a teacher. My friend’s Mum suggested Urban Planning, and I ended up studying Urban Studies & Town Planning at the University of Sheffield. Throughout my career, I have loved creating spaces that have a positive effect on the future communities that will use them – with a big focus on mental health.
At this year’s RTPI West Midlands Awards for Planning Excellence, I’m extremely proud to present The Chairs Award which will celebrate planning for mental heath and green and blue spaces.
I would encourage anyone within the Town Planning sector, no matter what stage in their career, to consider an RTPI membership within their region. It gives you such a wide access to CPD opportunities and growing your own network.
For our Waterman Aspen clients, if you need specialist support with your Town or Urban Planning project, please get in touch with us.”
