Lauren Harrison, Megan Toop-Rose, Alice Dimaline and Jessica Scarsbrook from our Water team did some work with the Swift Valley Volunteering Group to cut back hedges on footpaths, rake and clear spaces to contribute to their conservation work in the Swift Valley Nature Reserve.
They successfully cut back a very large hawthorn hedge which was obstructing the footpath. Visitors now have a better view of the reserve and cleared access to the footpath.
They then took a well-deserved tour of the reserve to learn more about what the volunteering group do throughout the year to conserve the reserve.
Well done to everyone who took part.
