Hayley Sharp Volunteers To Clean Up Local Football Club

This month, Hayley Sharp, Associate Director for Marketing & Communications, used her Waterman Aspen In The Community day to volunteer for Bury FC and help clean up the stadium on Gigg Lane.

Hayley spent the afternoon cleaning up the football ground, which hasn’t been used in almost three years. Bury FC has recently gone though a fan-lead buy-out and many members of the community have come together to help clean up the stadium with hopes to open for their first game in August. She commented “Just being in the stadium again was an absolute privilege, and seeing everyone who cares about the club doing their part took away the pain in my back after four hours of cleaning seats!

Great work Hayley and a fantastic way to use a Waterman Aspen In The Community day to volunteer for something you’re passionate about.
