Experience required for successful application…

  • Current UK Experience within a public, private or third sector UK based client,
  • AutoCAD is essential (Civils 3D would also be advantageous)
  • Knowledge and application of the TSRGD, DMRB and MCHW for design and procurement of minor / major highway schemes
  • Experience in traffic and cycle schemes would also be advantageous
  • Experience progressing Traffic Regulation Orders would be advantageous
  • Able to Check or carry out designs, plans, programmes,
  • Knowledge of highway section agreement 106, 278 and other legal agreements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders throughout the pre-planning application process and advise on strategic highways matters.
  • Review technical documents and studies, including transport assessment, as part of planning cases.
  • HND, HNC, BEng, MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline would be an advantage
  • A full UK driving license is essential Good communication skills
  • Computer literate
