Experience required for successful application

  • In the role you will be a responsible for the technical vetting and deliver of S278 / S38 works and general Highways Development Control responsibilities e.g. –
  • responded to local authority planning application on behalf of the highway authority
  • Section 106 highways negotiations
  • Section 278 / 38 highways works and adoption schemes
  • Interpret Transport Assessment data and provide advice on mitigation schemes and / or contributions under S106 by developers
  • Represent the highways authority at planning committees and advise local members, developers, the planning authority and the general public on highways development related planning matters
