I was a staff member in 2005-2009 and joined the Management Team in 2014 as an Area Manager, progressing to Associate Director in 2018.

What does a typical day look like in your role or secondment?

A typical day involves a blend of managerial responsibilities for WA around staff, commercial and reporting requirements, reviewing opportunities and risks and navigating the strategic direction of the Central region. A typical day in secondment involves strategic decision-making on major schemes, often involving project progress, managing budget and expenditure, corporate risk, governance and reporting.

What training or education have you received at Waterman Aspen?

A huge amount of vocational learning in technical, financial, legal and HR fields; amongst many others.
