Experience required… 

Essential: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience in designing and analysing aviation pavement structures, including runways, taxiways, and aprons.
  • Able to conduct pavement condition assessments and perform quality control testing.
  • Evidence and competence in developing and implementing maintenance and repair strategies.
  • Able to collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders on project planning and execution.
  • Able to prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation.
  • Competence and knowledge in how to ensure compliance with CAA regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Able to monitor project progress, manage budgets, and adhere to timelines.
  • Able to provide technical guidance and recommendations when issues arise during routine inspection regimes.

Desirable: 

  • Familiarity with the latest advancements in pavement materials and technologies.
  • Experience with large-scale airport projects or in a similar environment.
  • Certification in Pavement Design or Pavement Management Systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
