Experience required… 


  • Proven experience in structural engineering, particularly in the design and analysis of complex structures
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software and tools for design and assessment
  • Strong understanding and application of relevant British standards and codes of practice for structural design
  • Ability to lead and manage structural design packages, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards
  • Familiarity with construction materials and their properties, particularly those suitable for marine and industrial environments
  • Knowledge of structural integrity principles and techniques for assessing and ensuring the safety and reliability of structures
  • Degree in civil or structural engineering from a recognised institution
  • Chartered Membership of a relevant engineering institution
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with other engineering disciplines


  • Prior experience working in a defence or military context, with an understanding of the specific requirements and constraints of such projects
  • Familiarity with the design and analysis of reinforced concrete structures in accordance with ACI codes
  • Experience in finite element analysis (FEA) and other advanced structural analysis techniques
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools, including scheduling and budgeting
  • Continuous professional development in line with industry advancements and emerging technologies in structural engineering
