Experience required…
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience of contributing to airport master planning projects by overseeing studies on airfield layout, passenger terminal, and surface access planning.
- Passion and enthusiasm for coordinating, supervising, and delivering airport planning and capacity solutions as part of airport masterplans and development projects, covering airfield, apron, terminal, landside, and ancillary facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of airport operations, regulations (e.g., CAA), and planning methodologies.
- Proficiency in planning and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, Airport Design Software).
- Able to develop and update long-term master plans for airport development, including airside and landside facilities.
- Experience in conducting feasibility studies and impact assessments to inform planning decisions.
- Able to collaborate with stakeholders, including government groups, airlines, and community groups, to integrate their input into the planning process.
- Able to analyse airport capacity, traffic forecasts, and infrastructure requirements to ensure future needs are met.
Desirable:
- Evidence of staying current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in airport planning.
- Proficiency in planning and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, Airport Design Software).
