Experience required

Essential:

  • Some highway design experience (Trunk road or Local Authority) or at least an understanding of highways design would be preferred
  • Can use drafting and design software such as AutoCAD 2D or Civil 3D
  • Full UK driving licence preferred


Desirable:

  • Knowledge of DMRB and MCHW
  • Involvement in scheme delivery
  • Involvement in the full project lifecycle, including scheme delivery documents, construction documents and drawings, budget & finance control
  • Relevant design software experience such as AutoCAD/ Civils 3D/ KeySigns/ KeyLines.
  • BEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent (HNC/HND in Civil Engineering) but not essential
  • Self motivated and can manage own workloads to meet deadlines

IT skills required:

  • Able to use software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, KeyLINES or KeyPOST
