Waterman Aspen in the Community – Construction of 2 gates and bridge

Jon Royds recently completed his Waterman Aspen in the Community day by working on the construction of two kissing gates and a timber bridge to improve footpath accessibility.

The original timber bridge had rotted away so this structure was also replaced which now, along with the new gates has provided a much improved experience for all users.

John carried out this work as part of Hampshire County Council Countryside services volunteer Rights of Way work party in Ashford Hill, North Hampshire.

Great work John – the before and after photos really show what a good job was done here.
