Steve Mack – Area Manager

Steve Mack – Area Manager

What does your morning routine look like now? Up and dressed, logging into secondment at 7.30 (Some days before this it was 9.30 due to school drop off) to allow me a longer lunch with the kids.

Where is your home office? Loft room.

What’s on the menu for lunch? Normally a sandwich but had some bacon butties (similar to what I would have in the office as a treat ?)

What work are you currently involved in? Highway England (via Amey) Pavement and fence replacement scheme.

Best bit about remote working? Being able to see the kids as soon as I finish work / lunch can be spent doing something with them.

Worst bit about remote working? Kids distractions / less social interaction (only Teams etc) with colleagues

What do you do for your one bit of exercise each day? Most days a bike ride to a local duck pond (fairly small one) but it’s nice to stop for a few minutes to take a break with the kids.

What is the first place you will go when lockdown is over? Local pub for a meal and a drink with friends.
