Working Together Across the Midlands – MHA

The Waterman Aspen team attended the Midlands Highways Alliance (MHA) annual event 3rd June at the Nottingham Belfry hotel.

High on the agenda was the formal launch of the new Professional Services Partnership 2 Contract (PSP2), which the team recently won in partnership with Aecom. The team will be known in the MHA as Aecom Waterman.

MHA PSP2 follows on from our PSP1 and 3CAP contracts and successfully serves twenty Local Authorities in the region. This means the relationship is now eight years old, with the potential for another four. This is worth an anticipated £3m per annum to Waterman Aspen and is a vital tool for our business in the region.

The team has forged a great working relationship with Aecom (formerly URS), with several of our staff on the senior management team.  Secondment has grown in profile amongst MHA clients to such an extent that it became a key feature of the tender. The team is also actively supporting Aecom in encouraging new MHA members whilst increasing our support to existing members all the time.

MHA PSP2 therefore looks set to continue a very successful partnership.
