Water is essential in all our lives and with climate change, water engineering has become a vital component part of Waterman’s engineering and environmental consultancy.
Waterman Aspen secondees provide specialist support and help address skills shortages on a temporary basis. We can help deliver sustainable water solutions and advise on addressing demand, re-use and the risks of coastal and seasonal flooding. We are able to provide staff with direct experience of addressing water demand and possessing a thorough understanding of the challenges faced in regards to water supply and treatment. Skills include data collection and site measurements, flood risk assessments, drainage assessments, water quality monitoring, flood mapping and river catchment yield hydrological studies.
We currently provide support to more than 70 other Local Authorities and are active in the implementation of the Flood and Water Management Act 2011 where our staff are carrying out preliminary flood risk assessments and advising on the requirements for Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS).
