road safety audits
Waterman Apen's Road Safety Audit Team is made up of Engineers from a full range of professionalbackgrounds. Our Engineers have the technical ability, experience and training to meet the requirements of HD19/03 of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, the Manual for Streets
(2007), the Manual for Streets 2 (2010) and the CIHT Guidelines for Road Safety 2008.
Audit
Team members have received their formal Accident, Investigation and Prevention training by
attending RoSPA approved Road Safety Audit training courses.
Audits are undertaken in full compliance with the DMRB Standard HD19/03 “Road Safety Audit”
issued in November 2003, and we have experience in carrying out audits at the following stages:
- Stage 1 - (Preliminary Design)
- Stage 2 - (Detailed Design) or combined Stage 1/2 Audit
- Stage 3 - (Post Construction / Pre-Opening)
- Stage 4a - (Review following 12 months of scheme completion)
- Stage 4b - (Review following 36 months of scheme completion)
Waterman have carried out Road Safety Audits in accordance with the current DMRB Road Safety
Audit standard (HD19/03) for numerous clients.
