• This is a mixed use development on a 100ha brownfield site incorporating 2m square feet of office and industrial premises and 1,500 houses.
• Waterman was commissioned to undertake the Transportation Assessment for the development and the detailed design of the £15m Fastrack public transport system.
• Fastrack is a quality bus based system providing direct links with Dartford and Greenhithe rail stations and the Bluewater retail park. 
• The Fastrack infrastructure includes over a mile of dedicated bus carriageway, new bridge crossings over the M25 and A206 and GPS activated bus priority at all signalised junctions.
• The project was named the winner in the Transportation category at the ACE Engineering Excellence Awards 2008.
