• HAMS was already working for Derby City Council, managing the Decent Homes (Private Sector) Programme. In December 2009, as the decent homes work wound down, we started collecting data to inform potential CESP projects. Derby has 24 qualifying areas and we are actively investigating 10 areas for funding opportunities and partnerships with energy supply companies.
  
  
• More recently we have also been investigating opportunities in working in partnership with other local authorities with a view to obtaining economies of scale in implementing and managing CESP schemes.
  
  
• The national CESP programme is a cross-tenure pilot designed to ensure that operational, administrative and management procedures are trouble-free in time for the major Housing Energy Management Strategy, which commences in 2013.    

• HAMS can provide detailed energy-related strategic and operational advice and support to public-sector clients.
