CDM (construction design & management)
  • Waterman offers a complete range of Health & Safety, training and CDM-Coordinator services. We have undertaken over 2000 CDM-Coordinator projects since the implementation of the original Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, ranging from small improvement and maintenance works to multimillion pound major projects.
  • As part of our Secondment and Outsourcing Service, Waterman Aspen offers a range of technical staff having expertise as CDM-Coordinators under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007.
  • We can supply staff at various levels who fulfil the competency requirements contained in appendix 5 of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 Approved Code of Practice ‘Managing Health & Safety in Construction’ (HSE publication L144) for those who undertake the role of CDM Coordinator. Our staff are provided with full technical support from our specialist Waterman Health & Safety division, who are Corporate Members of the Association for Project Safety and a Registered Practice.
  • We believe that the role of an effective CDM Co-ordinator requires sound knowledge of Design, Construction and Health & Safety practice.
  • The philosophy we adopt in conducting CDM Co-ordinator duties is to promote the spirit as well as the letter of the CDM Regulations, in order to reduce accidents and improve health and safety throughout the whole life of the building from its construction, through its on-going maintenance, to its eventual demolition.
